DEVELOPING GOOD HABITS

The words “Take it as it comes,” occurs to me, in this moment. Allowing the Holy Spirit interpret reality is a practice I am working on regarding walking the walk of “A Course In Miracles.” When I assign meaning to the travesty which happened at the Capitol in Washington DC, January 6, for example, all I see is meaningless chaos. By transferring ego meaning to Soul meaning frees me up 100 percent. That’s called practicing good habits.

Seeing our brothers and sisters as One with us is a gift to the world. It is our ultimate safety net. I remember years ago reading of a fellow ACIM (A Course In Miracles) student running into a potential mugging incident by what appeared to be a violent gang of “ne’er do wells.” The person practiced Course principles, immediately looked into the eyes of her perpetrators and beamed nothing but love- no fear- in their direction. They stopped wherever they were, looked confused, and ran in the opposite direction.

Love, when used in every situation, has a vibration of fierce strength.

The lesson here: moving forward with nothing but love in our heart brings healing, changes everything. Our brothers and sisters are innocent, even if they wish harm to us, or to themselves. I am willing to see the love everywhere I go, today.

That, too, is developing good habits, by daily practice. OM
