Since Tomaso’s Last Breath followed by seclusion and quarantine, spiritual practice became and continues to become my rock of stability in this uncertain world of impermanence. A reality check came yesterday when the CDC issued a proclamation in parts of the country where CV19 variant is rising, that fully vaccinated people should continue to social distance and wear a mask. Thankfully some of us have become attached to mask wearing!

Today’s A Course In Miracles lesson,  “I trust my brothers, who are one with me,” highlights the need to return to spiritual practice time and time again when we judge people in such a way as to deny their innocence in the Love of God. God does not judge so why should I? Yet by returning time and time again to the idea of loving everyone, we rise our vibrational field to that of the ability to love more frequently and consistently. 

The emphasis here is on the practice, not the results, which at times may appear to be shaky, at best. But simply looking into the eyes of a brother, looking beyond their role to their soul, is one way to transcend the ego realm. My opportunities for doing this include a park rendezvous and when I take Pearl to the Vet, today. Other opportunities may arise as I observe my thoughts and let them go systematically.
