A time warp is the mind’s creative ability to free the limitations imposed upon us by societal dictates. Nothing can do this better than the death of a loved one. Tomaso’s and then brother Delaney’s passing gave me the opportunity to welcome bleedthroughs from the seeming past we shared together. Sudden memories open the psyche to explore abilities we may never know we had.

The death of loved ones gives way to directly seeing the truth of life, by tapping Into unseen worlds for insight and healing. We have to venture into altered states of consciousness to access this spirit world, always available, always near as we learn to trust it through dreams, ecstatic dance, and freeing up rigid schedules.

The only way to live timelessly is to dwell fully in the here and now, unapologetically and heroically. All the lives we ever lived are being live now. Who I am is who I’ve always been and always will be. We don’t get to “come back” because we are already here, now and forever. This blows apart the reincarnation theory, which is based on linear time.

When nurturing a simple enjoyment of our lives, a quiet appreciation bubbles up that is robust and abundant. Wishing time away is no longer accepted. It is a habit to carefully release and vanquish. Aging in American society is fraught with ageism and fear. My advice is to keep your revelations to yourself only sharing with your most trusted spiritual confidantes. I have found when I am honest about my spiritual philosophies to just anyone, people are threatened and “want the old Kate back.“ There is no such thing.

“I was so much older then. I’m younger than that now.“ OM
